Congratulations to Alex Chalke!
Last Saturday 23rd November at the K2 Arena in Crawley, Alex won the British Championship for the Over 36-year-old class Power Test in the British Taekwon-Do Championships. He then completed his set of medals with Silver in the sparring and Bronze in Patterns.

The examination of 5 key themes and various scenarios relevant to the Dual Challenge of higher energy demand (potentially 30% higher than today) and lower carbon emissions was as exhaustive and fascinating as ever.

Keith Evans and Tim Beckh attended the lunch meeting to hear the CEO of EDF Energy, Simone Rossi entertainingly deliver his thoughts on ‘An Energy Mix that meets the UK’s needs’.
Whilst there were no surprises here it was good to hear EDF’s commitment to nuclear in the UK re-stated.
