Sir David Attenborough’s natural history series ‘Our Planet’ has topped the first viewer ratings table from Netflix released earlier this month. The eight-part documentary narrated by the broadcaster was watched by more British subscribers to the streaming giant (10 million in the UK) than any other show last month. A strong indicator that whilst Brexit woes dominate the headlines, we Brits continue to recognise ‘the fierce urgency of now’ when it comes to combating climate change. A transition to renewables is just one way of mitigating climate change – often this can be combined with a positive impact on the lives of others as highlighted in just one of the many excellent organisations and projects supported by InfraCo Africa.
